Features
The most-well-selected jaguar ever, the XJ establishes new requirements in design, execution, and motorized extravagance.
Exterior Features:
Sophisticated model attributes improve the XJ’s audacious, sporting profile
Panoramic Roof
All XJ models feature a spectacular full-width glass roof, curving back from the top of the windscreen to the front of the rear seating area. In contrast to typical sunroofs, it owns a front segment that opens upwards and outwards, improving the awareness of space within the cabin and guaranteeing no headroom is lossed. The tinted glass has a reflective coating to stop the cabin from becoming too hot. Furthermore, there are twin electric blinds that provide additional privacy.
Xenon Headlamps
Bi-function HID Xenon headlamps work robotically when it begins to get dark. The headlamp wipers are set flush into the front bumper; therefore, they don’t disturb the XJ’s sophisticated lines. Additionally, the headlamps respond to speed and steering, to generate a deeper beam on corners, and offers additional light for low-speed movements, like parking. A sharp high beam feature (standard option on Portfolio and Supersport only) chooses low beam when it senses oncoming vehicles and reverts to full beam after the traffic has passed.
Rear Parking Support with Image Support
Ultrasonic sensors in the back bumper notices objects up to 1.8m away and the driver gets a noticeable alarm. At the same time, the screen in the centre console displays where the object is in relation to the car.
As voluntary add ons, the XJ can be fitted with similar sensors for the front of the car and a rear-facing video camera that sends pictures of what is behind the car to the screen and offers steering assistance to assist the driver reverse into a space.
Distinctive Rear Lights
The XJ’s back lights tracks the shapes of the boot down in the direction of the bumper, their triangular shape delicately resonating the unique design of earlier XJ models. Each lamp unit holds 57 LEDs that are organised in three blades and achieve full brightness more rapidly than traditional bulbs when the brakes are applied.
Adjustable Boot Lid
The electronic boot lid opens after pressing the remote key once, or by operating a switch either inside the car or on the bumper. There is an extra switch inside the lid for closing it. Additionally, the lid can be set to open to a specific height.
Chrome Vent
Light chrome side power outlets are set into each wing behind the front wheel. Designed to let heat out of the engine bay, they also have an attractive charm and feature a carved ‘ingot’ carrying the Jaguar name. A ‘SUPERSPORT’ motif is also included on the XJ Supersport, powered by Jaguar’s V8 510PS Supercharged engine.
Eye Catching Wheels
There is a selection of 10 designs for the XJ’s alloy wheels that are accessible in 18”, 19” 20”. Wider wheels and tyres are fitted at the back, to enhance, grasp and emphasise the cars forward dynamic.
